Hi Christopher, I'm not sure whether this is a bug, or I am overlooking something.
  • I have created a bunch of templates with one of your ready-made ones
  • I edited the templates according to what I wantd them to look
  • I took the image at the top of the templates to serve as a thumb. This is visible when I list the templates
  • However in the overlay that appears when I create a newsletter and select a template, no thumbs are visible
  • This works for your pre-installed templates, though
This is how it looks in the list of templates:

This image is hidden for guests.
Please log in or register to see it.

And this is how it looks in the overlay:

This image is hidden for guests.
Please log in or register to see it.

Do I overlook something, or how is this supposed to work?

Cheers, Chris

Hello Chris and thank you for posting.

I'm guessing this has to do with the paths being relative. Which Joomla version are you using?
Can you please also right click on the image, click Inspect Element and tell me the exact URL shown? (you may replace your website URL if you want)

Thanks again.

Hi Christopher
I am using Joomla 5.3.3 / PHP 8.3.24
Now, when inspecting te missing image, I see

This image is hidden for guests.
Please log in or register to see it.

When I add a slash befor the url e.g. /images/ the image gets displayed

This image is hidden for guests.
Please log in or register to see it.

Hope this helps

Cheers, Chris

Alright, I understand. This is what I thought.
As a temporary measure before we fix this, can you go inside each of those templates and manually add the preceding slash?

This should fix the issue.

Yeah, should. Unfortunately the leading slash gets deleted on saving.
