  1. I chose an image for Quiz Image, but I can't see the chosen image anywhere in the survey. Is there something else I need to do?
  2. In one question it asks for the users top 5 xxx, with 5 text fields for responses, but only one shows up in results. Is there a way to number the text fields, something like answer_box1, or some other way to make all 5 responses appear in results?
  3. When I click on Export Results, then Download Here, it leads me to a csv of the results, But when I try to save the csv, it will only save as a .png file, even though it's a .csv. I can go in through ftp and download it as a .csv that way, but it seems it's meant to allow me to download it directly, no?
Thanks,
Matt

Hello Matt and thank you for posting!

1. Currently, the Quiz image is only visible in the Quiz list containing all quizzes (index.php?option=com_simplequiz). If you want an image in the Introductory text, you can include it in the Editor.
2. Unfortunately, only one answer box is allowed per text question. Perhaps these could be split in 5 questions, or added as checkboxes if the set of expected answers is relatively small.
3. I was unable to replicate this issue. Is it possible that it has something to do with your device or browser?

Thanks again.

1. Got it.
2. That's unfortunate. It won't work for us to separate it into 5 questions, nor to use the checkbox. I guess we'll have to just use 1 big box and hope that people follow the instructions to include 5 examples. Allowing multiple fields might make a good suggestion for future updates.
3. I see that when you clicked Download, it immediately downloaded the file. In Safari on my Mac, it opened a new browser tab with the file there. The tab address ended with .csv, but would only save as a .png. You may be right that it is a browser issue. For now, I guess I'll have to use ftp to get the responses file.

Thanks for the quick responses.
Matt

2. I understand. Can you elaborate on the exact use case you have in mind?

3. I see. Instead of opening the link then, please right click on it and click "Save Target As", or something like that if such an option exists.

2. We wanted people to give a list of 5 topics. If we could set it to show 5 different questions on this single page, but leave the other questions in the survey at 1 per page, that might work, but it seems we have to set the number of questions per page for the entire survey, no?
The question and format were:
Please describe your top five topics or concepts you have struggled to find on the website.
1. [answer_box]
2. [answer_box]
3. [answer_box]
4. [answer_box]
5. [answer_box]

3. That did it! Thanks.

2. I understand. I guess the better option we have at the moment is to use a textarea and instruct users to write each piece of information in a new line.
Pages are set per quiz, indeed.

3. I'm glad to read that.
