The problem persists.

I can see that the first confirmation is the user but next ones are Google IP addresses (for gmail accounts).

The main problem is that the user receives the welcome email multiple times.

This can happen at the same time or later (days, weeks or months later).

Is there any way we can solve this?

For example, could we ensure that users who have already confirmed their subscription do not receive the welcome email again?

Hello Pablo,

I just implemented an option -enabled by default- that prevents duplicate welcome emails.
It checks whether a welcome email has already been sent.
It can be disabled from the Component Options for testing reasons.

It will be included in the next update.
