Unused maillist show up in drop-downs was created by Brendan
I'm currently migrating over to NS Pro, during setup I created several mail-lists, changed my mind then later re-created them etc. Now these abandoned lists show up in drop-down selectors/filters even though they are deleted.  I wish I could permentently remove them but it doesn't appear possible.  In these screenshot examples you can see a mixture of active and inactive/trashed maillist both showing and causing confusion.

Hello Brendan and thank you for posting!

In your mailing list manager, please open the available filters and select to view only Trashed lists. If you select these lists and click Empty Trash, they will be permanently deleted. This is standard Joomla behavior.

The drop-downs show all lists, to allow you to manage your subscribers even with hidden lists. For example, you may have an unpublished list named Newsletter Openers. Then in your newsletter, you can set as an action that once a user opens a newsletter, they get added to that list. You may also have Link Clickers, or other lists for Bounced addresses, etc. All these lists are only for administrator use, hence the ability to view all lists instead of only the published ones.

Let me know if that helps!
Thanks again.
