Cannot add new quiz - http error 500 internal server error

We just bought this component and installed it on our Joomla 5.1.2 website.
Installation goes fine but we cannot add a new quiz in administrator. We get a white page with all the components and an http 500 error.
What is wrong?

Hello there and thank you for your purchase!

This error is caused if you have an old version of TCPDF installed. It seems that some extensions install an older version of it and cause us this problem.

Please uninstall TCPDF and install a newer version if you need to create PDF certificates. Otherwise, SimpleQuiz does not require it to function.
