Protection from blog and abuse in ChatGPT Assistant Pro was created by Xavier Lemoine
Hello,
I dont know if I'm at the right place to post this message.
In ChatGPT Assistant Pro, is there a way to prevent bots, IP, or all unwanted "things" to use the assistant ? Even if you can limit to 10 the number of question, Bots will re-open a new thread and start again. There, you can have huge amount to pay to ChatGPT Api...
Thanks for your help

Hello Xavier and thank you for posting.
You raise a valid point.
First and most importantly, every OpenAI API user should configure both soft and hard limits in the OpenAI platform site, so that you make sure that even valid, legitimate use does not exceed your budget.
It is also worth noting that OpenAI implements many measures against misuse, including Requests per minute, Tokens per minute and more.
See: https://developers.openai.com/api/docs/guides/rate-limits
ChatGPT Assistant Pro does offer some anti-spam measures, but mostly for the transcript send functionality.
We are open to suggestions.
Thanks again for posting.
