Zoo Category Support?

I noticed that only Zoo items are currently supported, but what about Zoo Categories? 
Like for me I run a Streaming Service, but I was looking at changing my site and using the category pages as the custom launching pads for each show/movie in the future. But in testing I saw that the MyShortlist button won't load from the category page (front-page of category in Zoo). 
Could this change in the future or is this NOT possible?

I would have to check to tell you, because I haven't used Zoo in a while and need to check.
Do you have a URL where I could possibly test it? E.g. a dev site?
If you do, please share a temporary super user, but make sure the information is not public. (better via email)
