Issue with button display in a custom component

I am having an issue displaying a button in a component I created. It is structured similarly to the MyMap component and also includes a detail page. The "Add to favorites" button is supposed to appear on this detail page, but it isn't showing up.
I have tried everything, but I can't get it to work; the button simply doesn't appear. My long-term goal is to replace the MyMaps component.
