Hello everyone and thank you all for posting.
As you all see, there are various approaches to the issue. I will implement a new option in MyShortlist's component (since this is a global issue) and offer the following options:
When item is unpublished or deleted:
1. Do not show item
2. Show warning (which will be included in the language ini files for possible customization and translation)
3. Delete item from list
Do you all agree?

Hello,
Thank you for following. I understand that there are 2 needs.
I do not see any technical solution to the problem of Mirko ! but I am in a configuration with many favorites that become invalid because deleted. I wish very much that the member is not doing a manual action. It would take a lot of interest off an agenda, but maybe I did not get it right!!
Regards

Alright. I forgot to mention that the default from these options will be not to show any warning to the user. This way, if someone wants to configure it to clear old favorites, it will do so, but not by default.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

>>2. Show warning (which will be included in the language ini files for possible customization and translation)
1. Will be a visible name and description of the article and warning text?
2. If the article (as I wrote before https://mavxr.com/support/forums/myshortlist-problems-and-bugs/200-add-an-informational-message-this-event-has-been-removed-please-delete?start=12#528 I use it as products on discount) finish publishing, the user will get a custom message. If I extend the article for two more weeks, will the user see it again without warning message ...
Hope you understand me

Hello Christopher,
please, make it finally clear for me and Hervé.
Will be an option for admin to clear the database from deleted/expired items ?
(this case, of course, the items just disappear from frontend view for user)
If yes - how are you going to implement this ? automatically ? by a cron ?
Waiting for your comment,
