Embedding base64 PNG in newsletter not possible was created by Michael Dobmeier
Hello Experts,
hello Christopher,

I have a question regarding the inclusion of graphics in newsletters (in my case, for customizing the subscription email). I would like to include my company logo in the footer of this email. To avoid externally embedded graphics not being displayed, I usually insert the logo as base64 (<img title="Logo" src="data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUh.......">;). However, even if I disable the editors and only use the HTML editor, the base URL is always prepended in the src of the email I send (img title="Logo" src="https://str.domain-community.net/data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGo........">
How can I prevent this?
Thank you and best regards,
Michael

Just a note, Gmail doesn't support base64 images.
See https://www.caniemail.com/features/image-base64/
