Mailing List in User Profile

I'm trying hard to get that right and try different things, but without success. So with the Subscriber list menu item, you mean the one I attached? Seems everything is right?

And the second option....i "guess" not. As I still feel like a bloody noob, i don't do stuff like template overrides . I'm using the standard purity III template for all pages...but even changing the user profile page to other templates didn't change anything.

Any other idea?

No, the screenshot you have included shows the Component Options.
What I am saying is configured from the menu item options.
How are you showing the subscriber list? You have probably created a menu item that shows the subscribers. Is that right?
In that menu item, you should find the option I am talking about.

Ah, probably we are not talking about the same thing? I'm not using the menu item showing the subscribers. I'm taling about the individual User profile page populated by the "User - NS Pro User Integration" plugin. The profile, in my case, is this: https://www.spielatus.ch/joomla/your-profile (you would need to create an account to see the issue...or i can create a test-account for you if you prefer).
