How do I restart a stalled send without resending to everyone? was created by Mary
Hi there, I am not yet using the automated send because we are still in a testing/validating phase. I have anywhere from 1500 to 1600 emails to send 3 times per week. Originally I would try sending half then the other half, and that's fine, but I cannot babysit the sending process, so I tried sending them all at once. The first time was fine, but now I have a newsletter that has stalled with 348 emails to go. How can I restart that newsletter where it left off? There seems to be no way to do that, and our readers are already irritated after putting up with a wonky website for the last few months.
Please advise ASAP on how to restart a stalled submission.

Hello Mary and thank you for posting.
I am currently out of office so I cannot provide a lot of information, but here are a few important things to consider.
1. When NS Pro sends newsletters, it is normal to stop for various reasons. If you click on "Send" again, it will continue from where it stopped.
2. If you have set up your cron job key and scheduled your newsletter, then you can leave it running. Every 30 minutes, our website will trigger your NS Pro installation and continue the sending process from where it stopped.
3. If the sending fails repeatedly, you may have to examine why it fails. Sometimes an old email address may fail if the domain is no longer active and you may have to manually set that subscriber as non-confirmed.
4. On very rare occasions, the sending may fail and remain incomplete, as if it's still running. If you are sure that a sending has stopped and its sending log shows that it is still active, go to the sending log information and click on Mark as Finished. This will manually tell NS Pro that it can continue sending when a new trigger occurs.
Let me know if you need any further assistance.
