#Message Subject# was created by Gary Copping
Christopher,
I have a site where I use #Message Subject# for the Subject to be sent from the Contact Form. I also have set the website name in the Mail From Name. However when the mail comes through the Subject is "Message from Rapid Contact Ex".
Yet I seem to do the same thing on other sites and the mail comes through where the Subject is set to the website name.
Can you please explain what I may be doing wrong?
Thanks and regards,
Gary

Hi again Gary!
Is the #Message Subject# field published?
Is it visible on the form?
Is it a text input or some other kind of field?
Do you have maybe two fields with that same name?
If the value posted from this field is not a string, it may not work.

Hi Christopher,
Answers as follows:
Is the #Message Subject# field published? Yes
Is it visible on the form? Yes
Is it a text input or some other kind of field? Textbox
Do you have maybe two fields with that same name? No I have double checked
Not quite sure what you mean by "If the value posted from this field is not a string, it may not work."
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Gary

I mean if it wasn't a textbox, but a file upload field instead, or a checkboxes field, it wouldn't affect the subject which is a simple string.
Can you send me the URL of the form at me@mavxr.com to check?
Thanks...
