Custom error text was created by Tijn Kemps
I'm just new to Rapid Contact EX after using the free Rapid Contact for a few years.
I can't find out how to enter custom error messages (translations) for required fields or wron anti-spam answer.
In the free Rapid Contact I could do this for each field.
How do I define these in Rapid Contact Ex?
Thanks in advance for any help,
Tijn

Hello Tijn and thank you for posting.
In Rapid Contact Ex, you can use the language ini files to translate parts that are not available through the options.
That is the Joomla standard way of translating things to other languages.
Please read the following article to find help on how to translate using the language ini files:
http://demo.mavxr.com/translation-using-language-ini-files
Thanks again.

Hi Christopher,
Thanks for the quick response!
I took the file en-GB.com.rapid_contact_ex.ini, edited a copy and named it nl-NL.com.rapid_contact_ex.ini and put it in the language/nl-NL folder.
I've set the module language in Joomla to Dutch, but still the errors appear in english.
I found the solution:
I needed to create nl-NL.mod.rapid_contact_ex.ini (for the module instead of the component).
Thanks again!
