Hello everyone!
I'm glad to announce that this has just been implemented, together with a few other spam protection features.
You can find this option in the Component Options, by clicking Options on the top right of the Field manager.
In those global options, you can find a new "Spam Protection" tab.

Feel free to share your opinion!
Thanks again.

Thanks for this upgrade. However, when enabled, and with testing, I'm getting recaptcha and error messages.

When submitting the form after ticking the recaptcha box:
An error occurred. Please complete the captcha again, and try one more time.

Then if I try again, I get an error page with the following message:
0 - preg_match(): Argument #2 ($subject) must be of type string, array given

I thought this was going to be a quick upgrade. Now, I need to work out what I do with my client's form until I can get it to work again.

Update. I removed the spam key words from the new feature, and the form works again correctly. So, I suppose there is something wrong with the new feature?
I will keep it this way until perhaps you release an update. Thanks.

Hi again Peter.
I apologize. I didn't think of the possibility of having checkboxes in the form, and no fields selected for spam keyword check in the options.
It would have worked if you selected which fields to filter in the option right next to the Spam Keywords, but I should have foreseen the case of having an array of values (checkboxes) passed through the spam check.

I have now fixed it and will release the update within a short while.
Thank you for your precious feedback.
